See you down the road
throw up a pic!
Congratulations to your son! My son (11) read your post with envy. We are heading out for our first hunt for grouse tomorrow and now after reading your post with awesome photos he is even more "into" the hunt. Thanks for sharing as it sure lit up my sons eyes.
Junior sold me/set up my bow for me a Tyee this past spring and I had it out flinging carbon at grouse today! Good kid and is really helpful to have an archery guy in the shop to ask questions to.
Speaking of grouse hunting... I have to go talk to him tomorrow and replace the two arrows I flung into the bush today... with my Judo points! Doh!
Atta boy keep it up !!
That's fantastic, congrats to your son for a job well done and congrats to you for raising an excellent young hunter.

Nicely done both to you, and your son. Impressed.....
The measure of a man is not how much power he has, it's how he wields it.
BT's are a tough breed to take with a bow ... Job well done Erik
Nice work Erik! Great bow buck.
That's awesome. Just got to get the arrow a lot tighter to that shoulder. I had the same issue with my first few bow kills. I kept thinking behind the shoulder just like with a rifle. When you do get a good lung shot, it's far more effective. Hug that shoulder or wait till it's quartering away. On an animal that size I would just punch right through that shoulder blade with my bow. Great job putting in the effort to find it, it's tough with no blood trail.
