Nice ram, congrats. It sure looks like tough climbing on the shale.

Rejuvenation: Sitting in the slash in sub-zero temperatures waiting for first light and hearing antlers clashing together. Oh man, life is good!
That is a pretty nice conclusion.
Props
Nicely done , attago. Tough lesson for Larry , but not too costly overall.
Nice 10 yr old ram , or did they give you 11 ?
Never say whoa in the middle of a mud hole
Fantastic old ram. Way to persevere and get it done.
It's great to see people starting to share some stories on here again. Hopefully the trend continues.

congrats man!
Great story and thanks for sharing. Too bad about your hunting partner, but better to be safe than sorry.
I met a good hunting partner on this site. We went on a stone sheep hunt this year as well.
His wife used to call me "The Rapist" for the first year we hunted together haha.
Great thread Andrew...thanks for posting!!! Love the ram......good on ya!!! I see another trip in the future for yer partner!!! Hope he is feeling better.....have had heat stroke before and it's nasty. No dehydration yet as I love mountain water. Had "The Fever" a couple times from bad stuff, but it's always hit me once I've got home......great way to lose weight!!!
"I am fascinated by the wild, rough country where sheep are found. I love the long-continued excitement of the stalk. I even enjoy the disappointments and the frustrations, those stalks that go astray when the sheep have moved, and the wind changes". - JOC
