Is this a sign of global warming?

This little fella spent the weekend in my yard in Tulameen. I've never seen one there before, maybe he's got some friends too?

Since there's no such thing as global warming, I'd say it was just a quail on a fir branch. There are about 50 of them in my bird feeder this morning, he's missing out!

Definite sign of global warming !! That is actually a starling , the growth on top of the head is for water storage (sort of like a camel ) this allows the starling to go for up to a week without water .

Point being, there may be lots in the Okanagan, but Tulameen isn't in the Okanagan. I've never seen one there before, either had any of my neighbors. Maybe changing weather patterns are causing them to expand their territory? Currently no season for Quail in 8-5
