Looks good RD, how's the chew? or are you saving it for a fish soup/stew.
I got the idea from my brother who reciently returned from a fishing trip to Bella Coola. He met up with a local couple who gave him a bag of similarily dryed Salmon ( I don't remember what they called it, but they like to dip it in Butter and sprinkle it with salt. Personally I enjoyed it plain)
So, I took the idea and ran with it. The Pike is much more chewy and tough but I like it, as do the wife and kids.
I brought the bag full out to work with me, if it survives untill the end of my shift, I will consider making a soup. I suspect it will not last that long though. Probably have to make more, lol.

Marble eyes would be better tasting. I've tasted chum salmon dried and it sucked. Not fit for dogs.
fixed it...I've tasted dog salmon dried and it sucked. Not fit for my chums.
Never say whoa in the middle of a mud hole
I hate when that happens
Walleye would never last with me long enough to smoke! So delicious fresh out of the water! I'd probably trade a 20 pound spring for a couple of nice 2 pounders.
