Nice pics...lol if these guys were in season I'd have shot em with somethin else..

Never saw a jaw dropper that would give me the drive to even pick up a tag this spring. Poked around a couple spots where I have seen some monsters in the past, just runts this year. I've killed enough bears over the years that bears like the ones in these pics don't get me too excited. Much more fun getting close with the camera.

I don't think those are quills. Probably just something like thistle stuck in his fur. The sow he was courting was covered in burrs.
