    Thanks for the info . What style of release do you and Alex use with those bows ?

    Assyrian bow style is very interesting , very old ... and quite possibly more efficient than a lighter weight composite bow with siyahs which the experts say only outperform all wood bows once you start pulling heavier weight bows approximately 70# to make up for the weight of the siyahs mostly.

    That a Turkish or Persian style composite is beautiful is reason enough to build and shoot them. I believe you that an all natural material composite bow is a little bit slower than of man-made materials but no one can deny that they feel better , a softer , quieter bow with a living spirit as it were . A fiberglass sandwiched bow is harsh in comparison .

    I will be switching to thumb ring style soon to gain a couple of more inches of draw.
