Hunting Elk Is All About Finding Them ,If You Can't Find Them Keep Trying ..
Congrats on punching your tag's! Quite a while back a guy showed me some pic's of a calf moose that was orphaned when the Cow got hit by a car, long story short, the guy kept the calf in his barn for the winter with his cattle. By spring the hoof nail or what ever it's called was long, I mean real long, about 6 inches! They figgered because it wasn't walking around that winter and wearing it down like it's suppose to, it grew up into the air! Looked wild! I think the pic's were all over the internet a while back. Not that this story has anything to do with your bucks foot, but it reminded me of the moose. Anyway's, those Buck Steaks should simply melt in your mouth, cut with a fork tender, so don't even put knives out when you set the table!!!
