    PG Wolf Down

Well, through the Wolftracker site, we found a rancher with some wolf issues, and she was kind enough to let the Dawg run free in her yard, as it were.

First one down, a young female, and more to come, we hope!

We have at least 3 more ranchers tee'd up for the winter, so we hope to get out and whack some more doggies!

Feel free to post any wolf/coyote kills and locations here!

Got this little girl up by Banshee Lake (Reg 3) while out deer hunting yesterday. Smacked her with my 270 w/130gr game king.
I gave her every opportunity to get away too, pulled the gun up from the front seat wrong, tried to put the magazine in backwards, binos were under stuff on my seat, etc.

She was coming toward my truck on the road, veered off as if to go into the bush, finally got my bino's up to see if I could spot her in the trees.....looked up and she was coming toward the truck again. I figure she's going to run right under my door and she veers into the sticks one more time about 10yds from the truck. I finally get the mag in the gun and get out of the truck. She's in a small reveen off the road heading away from me in a stop and go type action, then turns and comes back towards me, she stops for a second and I let her have it.

PS...... Your pic isn't showing for me.

The challenge of retirement is how to spend time without spending money.
The worst day slinging lead is still better than the best day working.
Look around is there someone you can introduce to shooting because that’s the only way we will buck the anti gun trend sweeping Canada! "tigrr 2006"

Good deal guys taking young females is a good thing. That's a half dozen less yote and a half dozen less wolf pups next spring. Big males look cool but this has more effect in getting numbers in check.
its gonna take a life time to hunt and fish all this
