Well, Mrs.SKS found a sitter crazy enough to show up at our house at 0 dark thirty and deal with 4 kids first thing in the morning. So I figured I'd take her out in the "monsoon" as some referred to it as and see if she couldn't put a hurting on some more puddlers. So after a quick recce of the field in the dark to see what kind of mess the rain had caused. We set up on a small sheet with a favouring wind and sat in the truck for a bit drinking our coffee. Not the usual morning craziness that we are use to but some good flocks came by, was kind of a slow start. but it picked up and pretty soon we were sitting in the low double digits. We were just getting back into the blinds when a flock of 4 turn into the spread, I gave them a couple calls and then they proceeded to start doing barrel rolls while cutting height. I looked at the wifey and said "Those are specks if they get within 30 we have to shoot" and no sooner was that out of my mouth didn't they dive right in behind robo and bank to our right. We took 2 of the 4. We finished the day realizing the waterproofing in our hunting pants is no longer a proof but a resistance.
