I was seen them 50south of the sumas border and heard a report of them in matsqui (abbotsford)

I saw a hen with my own two eyes not far north of boston bar. And the way she acted made me believe she had chicks nearby. Nobody believed me until I talked to a guy a the local gun shop and he had heard about a number of them south of princeton. They're out there and growing in numbers

I was raised in the south Okanagan and hunted deer from Vaseux Lake to Midway in the late '60s and early 70s and never ever saw a turkey in the wild back then.

I have also heard of turkeys north of Boston Bar on the west side of the river from two different guys. Both said the saw two toms.

couple guys I know were riding atv's along the nahatlach and have a pic of 8 in a flock together on the side of the road. I think they were all hens but im not 100% sure.

I spent the afternoon around Baldy yesterday and nothing... Might try the Rock mtn fsr tomorrow. Anybody been down that way lately?
