    Amanita muscaria.
You will see the light at the end of the tunnel and a choir of a thousand maidens if you eat that!
You can then report to the guy in a big chair who sits right next to Jesus.

    Re: Mushroom

I pick Chantrelle mushrooms and keep wanting to know what some of the others are that I see. I heard these ones were not good, so had my late friend eat a couple , Can anyone recommend a good book for BC or coastal island mushroom identification ? I was looking around today , but was going to go to Chapters tomorrow

They might be nice too look at but are as poisonous as it gets. You can read more about these here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amanita_muscaria

    Re: Mushroom

It looks like a sesame seed hamburger bun from McDonalds...

There are so many mushrooms and most of the very colourful ones and toadstool types are poisonous.

    I like picking Giant Puffballs,

    Chanterelles,

    Oyster Mushrooms,

    Pine Mushroms,
