Band!
Been a few years since I got a banded duck but dropped one a few weeks ago! It was a drake mallard and was banded in 2017 as an adult. It was banded in Fairbanks, Alaska, second duck from Alaska for me!
Things are slowing down, still a few birds in my area but not moving much.... I even blew it on geese as I thought they closed a week earlier than they did and passed on some shootable birds! My buddy Mark got his first goose a few days later, can't wait for the spring season.

Those are some nice birds. Congrats on the band.
We never got into geese in this last season. Just never seemed to work out.
There are still a lot of ducks around but there is so much water, they are everywhere and not very pattern able.
