Best way to check a saw is to pull the muffler of, if its big job to do walk away.....a Stihl is 2 maybe 3 screws. look for any marks on the piston between the top Ruing and the top of the piston, any marks on the skirt is showing abuse

Okay, nearly brand new (returned after use) Husky 445 for about $300 all in.
Sounds good to me, but maybe I'm missing something?

Should do you proud AG. Feed it good gas and mix(Husky XP) and you should get a lot of years of service out of it.
