Waterproof gloves - suggestions?
As the subject says:
I have warm gloves, I have ski gloves, I have mechanix gloves (which are actually great for out hunting), etc.
What are people using for a glove that is decently waterproof? (and not those thick rubberized yellow things) I'm tired of being out hiking for a day and my gloves getting so wet they end up weighing 500lbs.
Thanks
David

I've been liking the Kuiu Axis gloves for what you're describing. Only a partial season on them but so far been happy, above +5 degrees. Haven't had them out below that.
Re: Waterproof gloves - suggestions?
I thought about putting snow seal on a pair of insulated leather gloves and see how that works. Some days I go through 5 pairs of gloves working in wet conditions. 3 pair just today what with the snow melt and doing roof sheeting. In 40 years I have yet to find gloves that keep my hands dry!!

Anything goretex will keep you dry but warmth... that is the tough one.

Snow seal on leather gloves works great make sure you use a heat gun to get it soaked in

I'm looking at the same right now and sent an email to sealskinz. I'm on VI and not worried about the cold but them getting saturated.

To keep my hands dry I use a latex glove under my gloves, whether I'm working or hunting in the rain/snow. The gloves get wet but my hands don't get split from the moisture, works good.

I suppose that would be fine, I like the thin ones. My fingers get split bad from moisture, so bad I have to use crazy glue to keep them together, painful too.
