Re: Forget your spring bear hunt: Horgan pushing gas to $2 - $3/L
-- Wrong my band members have agreed (already got money) from Kinder More Gun so not correct limit -- our tribe ok'd it already waiting for the rest of the money when officially started over ten year period in settlements. We work together with our communities to get things done properly. Progress is growing.
Jel -- that's why I'm sayin let's go -- no different then anyone else -- the pipeline must be built and sooner the better -- work togedder it's bedder
Re: Forget your spring bear hunt: Horgan pushing gas to $2 - $3/L
I've said this in another thread in regards to this whole pipeline issue.
I support it, and to be honest, it already exists, they are just adding a 2nd line.
But, the one thing I wish that was mandated in this whole issue, is that they have to build
a refinery right here in BC.
I don't agree with shipping "raw material" , our resources, to someone else, without it being processed here first.
On top of that, I am sick of being held ransom every time a refinery shuts down somewhere.
We need on here, and start being self sufficient....and then we have more jobs as well...good paying jobs.
And hopefully...cheaper gas.
Total BS every week at the pumps, and then to boot, we have a crappy "rapid transit" system anyways.
Not like Europe by a long shot!

Seems like the perfect Storm is brewing.
Three Socialists, Two Premiers and one Prime Minister (Horgan-Notley-Trudeau) on each others Throat. Whom would have thunkit.
Our BC Guy of course wants to have the Courts sort it out for him so he can claim "I did all what I could - its the Courts fault". Unfortunately or Fortunately before the Courts render a Decision we may be at $ 3.** per Liter Gas.
The substitute History Teacher in Ottawa better come up with workable solutions fast, Selfies wont do it this time.
We may see Riots at the Pumps before it gets better, therefore stock up now with whatever you think you need !
Cheers

Doubt riots at the pumps, but I’m set. 2 55 gallon drums and a hand pump. :)
Re: Forget your spring bear hunt: Horgan pushing gas to $2 - $3/L
looks like I'll have to drive to Bellingham to stock up.
Anyone know if you need to claim 100+ litres of fuel for the border jerks?
Re: Forget your spring bear hunt: Horgan pushing gas to $2 - $3/L
The pipeline is happening boys. Don't sweat it.
Re: Forget your spring bear hunt: Horgan pushing gas to $2 - $3/L
Gas prices on the lower mainland, will have many heading south, to file up on less expensive American product. I think earlier, some one mentioned that there are three refineries, two in Washington State, and one up here, that are down for Maintenance, until the end of April. So the fuel shortage will probably hit places like Bellingham to eventually. I can just see the angry residents across the line, pissed at us for buying all their fuel. But on a more serious note, it is more than tragic and disappointing to see the Federal Government response to this situation. Funny thing is, I keep hearing Stephen Harpers mantra in my mind lately. "Trudeau - He's just not ready". Know what I mean.

Agreed.
We should be refining our own products and then yes send the excess over seas. The problem is the political red tape around environment laws. However we should be showing the world that it can be refined to the best environmental standards
Re: Forget your spring bear hunt: Horgan pushing gas to $2 - $3/L
Who's gonna pay to build and operate a refinery that doesn't make any money?

I think your avatar answers that question.
