well not quite the michilen star experience as from Casa de Nog, but some tasty dinner from the last week's camping trip: mac'n'cheese'n'trout!

I just had wild duck pan fried in cast iron, wild rice, steamed veggies. No photo, hah.
Rummaging in the big freezer, and unexpectedly ran across a few Racks of Lamb! Time for another Lamb fest...

Main side dishes were fresh pasta with a home-made sauce (sundried cherry tomatoes, garlic sliced thin, onions, spinach and canned chanterelles) dusted with freshly grated parmesan and yellar beans from the garden.

But rummaging for Din-din last night came across a vac-sealed bag that had somehow lost it's seal. So, in order to not let the stuff freezer burn, and to deal for a simple & quick meal, decided to Panko the fish and do up a few fries to accompany:

Fresh smoked ham, yams cooked along side it in the clay baker, and Foxey's Caramelized Brussels Sprouts with Pine Nuts and Maple Bacon:

Had some left over ham, so topped that up with a smoked ham hock:

Into the Big Pot along with both yellow & green split peas, onions, carrots, garlic, chicken broth and bay leaves:
