Maybe you have other pics that show otherwise ?
The buck from June 7th, with the split left G2........he is well ahead of the pack for that time of yr...... and ahead of number 2.
I wont disagree that "number 2" may toss up better numbers.
I aint a guy about numbers.
Im all about character, finding the most mature animal, regardless of score, ........ and junk in the trunk is purely a bonus.
Let's back up.......go to the 30,000 ft elevation and look down.....the reason why I am committed to this thread.... all about proving that quality WT .... potentially Boone & Crockett bucks...... exist in areas that many complain whitetail r shot out.

Not sure if he is close enough to a rd to ur liking ......

Pulled cams Tuesday
Things have come to a grinding halt on the Whitetail front.
I only captured one buck on 8 cams in the last 5 days
Same thing happened the last 2 yrs at this time.....most bucks evaporated.
First time I have got this buck on cam despite having a dozen cams in this general area
Bit of a mess going on with the passenger side....

Wondering if this is the cat I had the face to face stare down with last June
The "episode" happened with 600 meters of this cam location

We've had the same thing happen on our muley cams. Lots of action, then the odd doe walks by once a week.
Of course, we then have to deal with "hunters" who claim that there are no deer and we should shorten the season/close the season/go LEH/go 4 point/etc, etc.
Animals change it up. That's a key to survival.

Have faith.
Every area has it's nuances.
Ive got contacts that the WT bucks they are on move very little, consistent pics......others face this buck evaporation come late summer.
I experience a flush of returning bucks come late Oct/early Nov after a 2 month absence.
