Cache Creek or Ashcroft Accommodation
I am looking to get out to the Ashcroft and Cache Creek area to get my 2yr old Pudelpointer out on some wild birds. Does anyone have a suggestion for cheap, clean accommodations that are dog friendly in the area?

The Riverside in Cache Creek is great. Likely have pet rooms.

I just checked, pets are allowed in some of the rooms. If you end up staying there, ask Christine for a ground floor on the South side if there's a pet room there so you can keep an eye on your vehicle. We paid $79 a night.

How did the birds treat you during this cold snap? Chukar?

Have stayed at the Sage Hills in Cache Creek many times with my dog.

I haven't completed the trip yet, but yes, I was mainly hoping to chase chukar.
