Togens Fly Shop

Hmmm got to see a new to me hook recently..it was a Togens #16 2xl...
So I placed an order last Friday.package was here today . #16,#14 #10..tungston beads white, black, plus chrony skin..best color shine for GMG fly.
The staff were knowledgable, and informative, and helpful.
Now for the kicker..the Togens hooks, beads were 50 % less expensive than previous suppliers !
Yes I know the fish will tell the tale..ha ha..on quality..but on first blush..and some twisting with haemostats I am suitably impressed.
And Togens gave me 10 % off for being a new, first time buyer .
Exceptional customer service.
Will do a write up after Sheridan lake trip.
Thought my fishing friends should know .

Got me interested in that "chrony skin" (never heard of that)

Togens is fantastic - I bought a whole bunch of stuff for chironomids in April. They caught :-D

They are in Maple Ridge, BC.
Google gmg..gun metal grey shootout with bc flyguys..this chrony skin was their choice for the best material to match the grey blue sheen for chronies.
Yes Google them online.prices are insane good.

Hmmm just organising my next chrony tying frenzy..lol..concentrating on GMG..size #16..#14...and size # 10 on scud hooks..
Some with just blue dun thread. .red ultra fine rib or black..then some with 3/32 bead..black or white....tungston..
Coating will be ultraviolet loon resin..I will try the antistatic bag material, or the Togens chrony skin..or fine fine tubing filled with mineral oil, then some silver, then som green..
Thinking 200 should be a nice round number..also trying some of UK tier Davie Mcphails patterns..
Should give me something to do in the evenings..lol..

Where I buy all my chrony supplies. Great bead colors for balanced leeches as well.

There scud hooks are my go to.

Okay, found them on site etc from Maple Ridge.
Are they just an "online" company or do they have a retail location? (I cant seem to find a store location??)

As for Flyguys.net, yup they have some great ties.
Just did a bunch of Ironman and Producer Chronies this past winter.
