I'd have to ask my bowhunting partner on the 4 Runner year.
His gets double my 1998 F 150.
Even better than that in 4 wheel drive.
Cheers

I’ve always run diesels, and recently bought a gasser (‘08 Chev 2500HD with 6.0). It’s a comfy and capable truck, but the whole 10-11 mpg thing is hard to take. Mind you my 3500 diesel might be able to squeeze 13.5 on the same route with the same load, so after you factor the difference in fuel, it’s a lot closer cost wise. I only buy fuel in the USA and have been paying $1.80 per litre CDN. It’s $5.10 USD per gallon down there now. It’s still not cheap, but it’s way better than up here!
I remember when my 78 T/A 400 4speed 6.6l only cost 8.50$ to fill up!!!
Mind you a pack of top smokes was a 1.75$, under 20$ a carton.
A hunt trip was 15$x3.
1 tank up, 1 tank around and 1 tank down for an entire weekend split amongst 3 guys.
I’ll be going realistically it’s only an extra 40$ to fill my jeep. And I get 500 ish km to a tank. On the highway. Soooo 170$ to fill my 80L tank. And after all the shit I changed. I’m getting 14L/100 on the highway if I keep at 100 . Sooo it will take a little longer. As long as no hills that is hahaha the old 4L. Its thirsty on hills with the 33”s :icon_frow. 97 grand. 6” lift. 33”. Lots of mods. It’s horrible to drive :grin::grin:
Find another person to squeeze into your vehicle for a hunting trip if cost aren’t feasible.
Dont put off an opportunity to make shit happen.
Too bad they didn’t sell Suzuki Jimni’s here, would be very popular.
