howdy, looking forward to fall

just getting into hunting myself. never did any growing up and don't come from a hunting family, but really enjoying learning about it, especially here in bc. grew up on the farm, so really like the idea and taste of ethically raised food, and hunting definitely fits that - just have to put a little more effort in the harvesting the animal than walking to the barn, ha!

looking forward to the fall season, getting out and putting some miles on the boots. my ultimate goal would be to get into back country elk hunting. in the meantime just gonna put my time in and learn the ropes with hopefully a blacktail and whatever small game comes across my path.

lots of good info on hbc so far, peppered with some interesting characters haha. maybe i'll cross paths with some of y'all this summer as i gear up and get out in the woods. i'm sure i'll be asking a bunch of questions in the meantime.
