2nd Kamloops shoot for 2019. August 24/25.
We are have a second 3D shoot in Kamloops this year, temporarily replacing the "Foxhunt" held in Logan Lake last August, a joint effort by both clubs.
It's a slightly different format to our "big" shoot in April and the plan is to have a 15 target flat field and a 15 target walking course, paying by the round.
It will, as ever be at the KTSA grounds and we will have the usual camping, door prizes etc and we are working on some raffles and fun/spot shoots and other things to keep everyone happy.
It's gonna likely be a hot'un so plan accordingly!
It will also be a fundraiser for the KTSA members (3 archers) who have made the Canadian Team to represent the country in the 3D Worlds in Lac La Biche, AB in September.
A nice little hunting warm up for you all too!

It's always a good time down at the Kamloops range. It'd be nice to see a lot of support to help our local archers make their trip. I'm sure it's a busy summer for most, but hopefully it will still allow those who can to come out and make it a successful event.

There was supposed to be a notice gone up, but the shoot has been planned and actioned quickly. There will be signs going up and all info will be up on the "Kamloops Archers" FB page.
Problem was the section for the team for the 2019 World 3D Champs (in 2 weeks) was based over 2 years scores in the national champs, the second of which was just 2 weeks ago. With the Logan Lake late season "foxhunt" unable to be held this year we also did this as a joint event to stand in for that as well as a fundraiser for those going to represent Canada in Lac la Biche. Despite the short notice and lack of long term planning, we have got everything in place for a kickass shoot with lots of stuff happening!
