Another Lower Mainland a$$hole asking for turkey help ;)
Hey friends!
I'm wondering if anyone has any information they'd be open to sharing regarding spring turkey. I'm an Aussie and have never even seen one of these buggers in the wild.
Im thinking of heading away for a long weekend (we live in Vancouver), and I guess I'll be heading east!?
Im absolutely not asking for specifics, but any info on what sort of terrain, techniques or general turkey killing tips would be really really appreciated!!
Cheers and happy hunting!!
Sean

Costco has a bunch of big birds. They dont spook easily and are pretty easy to prepare for the table.
Haha
But seriously where do we hunt turkeys

area and he said there are many of them around..

I like Chris idea..:
just think about how much turkey a guy could buy with that gas money it would take to go shoot a little birdy

you the competition in the frozen foods isle goes way down when you bring your shotgun in..

There's some turkeys roaming on texada and when we were there a couple years ago the CO that we ran into said we could shoot them. He said they were invasive. Prob have better luck in the kootenays though. You'd spend as much in ferry fees getting to texada as you would driving to the kootenays.

no problem seeing them in the East Kootenays, seeing them were you can hunt is a bit more difficult, if
you want to head that far can tell you a few spots that may hold some.
