Importance of correct draw length

New bow and playing around with mods was very eye opening. Always read that you are better of with your DL being a little short than a little long. Wrong you are better off having the perfect draw length. I thought I was long so I ordered a mod 1/2 inch shorter . What I found was I was shaking all over the place,I could not anchor my shoulder properly. Went back to the mod I thought was long and bang,Robin Hood once again( lol). Agree with you...too short collapses my form....I shoot with back tension. Too long is really bad too.
