Re: 2020 North Vancouver Island blacktail video
You and that other guy make fabulous videos. Really great to watch. I go back and re watch them quite frequently. Hunting in that timber was a thing I used to get to do down here but it is a long gone thing of the past. I often think to take a trip up there. but that would be my mainland hunt time. But just to find a tree patch like your in.

Good work! Thanks for sharing.
Were the deer shown on video the ones you passed on?
ie. did you cut your tag on one?

no we didnt shoot any of those deer, we kind of have a rule on those hills that we dont shoot anything unless its a stud, makes it tough but its part of the fun

There has to be a lot of satisfaction just seeing all the deer. At the end of the season if you didn't shoot you at least know you could have a lot.... lol.

Re: 2020 North Vancouver Island blacktail video
Really well done. You got some great shots!
Re: 2020 North Vancouver Island blacktail video
Pretty cool. I shot my first deer on northern Vancouver island 50 years ago in October. I was 17. No pics or antlers left but it was a 4x5.
My father had a rowboat hidden along the shore of a lake and we'd row over to the other side and hunt the alpine type meadows on the other side.

Great videos!!
I am curious about what kind of camera you are using to record all this marvelous footage...
