That's a tad harsh.
My Lady & I have been living with and rearing 1/2 Wolf Hybrids for over 30 years.
For any that asked, we made a little time to provide updates and pictures.
It is NOT onerous whatsoever, contrary to the picture you are attempting to paint.
Really..
SRUPP: Patience Grasshopper. They will get around to sending along more soon I am sure...
Cheers,
Nog

Re: new puppy being grown
If one just wants a Pet, almost anything including Heinz 57 will do and in my mind be just as good as companion as any other. Myself I love all Dogs and Cats, well the later when they are Treed, brown and more then 90Lbs if you know what I mean.
However if one wants something for a specific purpose a Purebred from a Reputable Breeder is the Answer and I would avoid Breeders which just breed for the Show circuit.
I don't know much about other Breeds but a German Hunting Terrier is about as good as any Hunting Dog used for wounded big Game searches and/or clearing an area of Black & Grizzly Bears I can think of.
If one looks for protection a Doberman or Rottweiler (just to name a couple) commands instant Respect, being also outstanding Pets is just the Icing on the Cake.
Cheers

Congrats on the new dog! Our girl (chocolate lab) just turned 7. Time flies , and we both have more grey hair/ fur than when we met. Dog life is the best life.

No …. Maybe just a little realistic.
I am well aware of how excited new puppy buyers can be …. Currently have a litter of seven here on the ground and am answering emails and sending photos as often as possible on their growth and development.
In the first week, if the OP got an update saying the puppies had arrived, how many, gender and colours (although looks like it was a yellow breeding) they should be willing to “hang in” there while the breeder has a chance to catch their breath between all puppy jobs and get their buyers a more substantial update with photos. Exactly what happened in this case.

Sorry.
Been there.
Done that.
Dozens of litters.
Taking a few moments to snap a pix or two and jot a line simply saying they are doing well is NOT onerous.
Something I have done many many times.
Obviously your mileage may vary...
Agree with Moosin!
Damn cute pups!!
Congrats Steve & Susan!
I just know you are in for a world of FUN!
Cheers,

Re: new puppy being grown
consider ourselves blessed..Snows last litter..Lindas swan song for pups...and all the pups look like exceptional white..yellow labs...good formation..lots of black noses....life indeed looks great for the 7 newbies...
and yes I am sure there is an abundance of work being done 24/7 keeping them happy, fed, warm dry..all their needs AND SPOTLESLLY WHITE...
