Re: Southern Killer Whales have prey
Here is another study stating that Southern Killer Whales might have 4 - 6 times more food then there northern counterparts.
(In other words, the SKW's issues might not be related at all to Lower Chinook #'s!!!)

They are way too sensitive…
Re: Southern Killer Whales have prey
I'm thinking the declining southern whale population has more to do with the interruption of them getting to eat. Fishing hasn't changed much in resent years but Whale Watching pressure sure has. It seems like they are always around them. The whale watching boats can do what ever they want, ( in the name of science and a good whale picture)

Re: Southern Killer Whales have prey
This SRKW crisis is a wack of BS.
I've spent my life of over 60 years on the Coast.
They are right in the middle of their average population since the late 50 s.
This is just more some like, environmentalists screaming the world is crashing ! The whales are dying wha wha wha.
More Agenda by the want to change everything to their opinion only. Pure BS.
