I watched a buck like that 10years ago, walk parellel along a ridge right across from me.
Watched him walk over 800yards in and out of timber and openings.
Directly across from me at 635 yards.
Watched it for over 30 minutes.
Too far to shoot I felt.
And I would have to go steep down the ridge I was on, and steep up the ridge he was on, and doubt I would ever see him once I
closed the distance (would of had to lose direct sight of him for a good chunk of time)
So, I just watched.
Damn, was that Buck Tall with tines all over.
