Re: Tunkwa Lake any good for birds?
When I speak it's from my personal experience or from conversations with people and experiences that they, or friends and family have had. I am not allowed to freely access public land, under threat of fine or jail, in the country I was born in, solely based on my ethnicity. So tell me about bigotry and racism again?
Hunting grouse on foot is hard on the heart. Busting grouse roosting head high in a tree is a real shock!

I do! With a dog, though, and TBH it's a ton of fun.

the ONLY way I hunt grouse is from a vehicle lol. Too and from hunting something to actually fill the freezer.. who on earth hunts grouse as anything besides a morsel of opportunity? Lol

well, a dog can even make duck hunting fun ;) so you’re probably right lol
Tried to take my German shepherd with me once… left her in the truck, shot the grouse… here comes the dog through the open drivers window to steal the grouse flapping on the ground and off to eat it

Every year on Sept 10 I go grouse hunting. It's one of my favorite things to do is walk through grouse country
