does anyone know what the hunting is like along the graham river around the crying girl rec site?
I use to guide up there, and in fact was part of the crew who built the rec site. Nice country for sure. I'm sure someone can provide more current data, but back in the late 1990s the hunting was pretty tough along the Graham. Lots of native pressure and resident hunters. The biggest moose I've ever seen, however, was along the Graham in December.
Have been to the Husky leases and plants in the area, saw lots of elk and mule deer, couple black bears this summer. Moose are there, but not exceptionally. It's fun terrain to hunt, though. Bring snowshoes.
lots of people camp there now so there could be lots of resident pressure
