Father/ 9 Year Old Daughter Killed While Hunting
Unfortunately I know this isn't the first time things like this happen but how in this case?
How do you mistake people for Deer. As hunters, should we not be 100% sure we know what we are shooting at before pulling the trigger?

Horrible feel very sorry for the family. I don’t understand how you would just shoot at something without knowing what your shooting at.

As much as we joke about the gun safety course we have to take in Canada there is a point. Unfortunately some people get a hold of guns which have zero education or business in using one, now add some buck fever and lack of experience. Sad sad occurrence.

Simply terrible story. Hard to believe it could ever even happen to one person never mind two together. Will be interesting to see what authorities say about this.

I have a feeling this person will never be the same. I’d be surprised if they ever pick up another firearm.

Heart breaking. Beyond comprehension.
Absolutely no excuse for this ever happening.

So sad. Hard to believe it's possible to do it twice. They had friends pushing deer; wouldn't you be even more cautious? I'm suspecting liquor or something.

I hope they never pick up a firearm again.
