Northern Saskatchewan Alberta Whitetail Outfitter hunts
As age and health challenges catch up with us, we realize we want to complete some of the bucket list items.
I've been trying to research a Northern Saskatchewan or Alberta Whitetail hunt. It appears Northern BC just hasn't got the opportunity nor the class of a Whitetail hunt I'm searching for in what time I have left.
I'm very much wanting to do this, looking for a Big WT buck, hopefully in a CWD free zone.
If you know of, or have experienced one of these hunts please share who you recommend and why.
I'm looking for a comfortable camp, good food, good staff and people, and most notably Big WTail bucks.
Looking to book something late November 2021.
Thanks for your opinions and input.
Actually looking to do the same in southern Alberta or Wyoming for a Speed Goat....... Antelope.
If you can recommend some one please do.
Thanks HBC

Thanks fellas for your contribution, I was looking at Silver Sage Outfitters, just for the fact of their support for the WSSBC. I'd prefer to keep our money in Canada.
One question, they offer a early hunt during rut, and a late hunt. Which do you think in your opinion would be best.
Re: Northern Saskatchewan Alberta Whitetail Outfitter hunts
Saskatchewan guided Whitetail hunting is only in the Northern forest zones.
There is no zone in this area without CWD unfortunately.
Re: Northern Saskatchewan Alberta Whitetail Outfitter hunts
The biggest Alberta bucks seem to be in the areas that only have a Nov season. The long liberal season of part of Alberta, aug 25-sept 16( bow) and sept 17- nov 30 ( rifle) seems to takes its toll on the buck quality. Keep this in mind on your search. Also look at the vintage of the photos the outfitters display. Some of them only produced good bucks 20 years ago when Alberta/ Saskatchewan had 1/2 the population of residents.

Re: Northern Saskatchewan Alberta Whitetail Outfitter hunts
How big of a whitetail are you looking for? The size you are after, and how deep your pockets are definately come into play while picking an outfitter. I own a camp in Saskatchewan. I can help you with the great food, people, and comfortable camp, but we don't produce a lot of huge deer, but our price also reflects that fact. Our minimum size limit is 130". If you are looking for a 180" whitetail, I'd say our camp isn't for you, but let me know and I may be able to point you in the right direction.
