Barnett recruit cross bow

Hi all
I just got a cross bow and want to try hunt with it. I cant pull a compound bow with my bad shoulder so i have no choice but to use a cross bow.
I realize it is a small one but its what i got, does any have any advice?
i will practice in my back yard till next fall before i attempt to hunt with it..
Question, Is this a powerful enough one for elk?

130 lbs draw weight.

Dont cheap out on arrows or broadheads for quality

Ill check the bolts that i have, it came with 9 but i have no problem buying the ones recommended to me.

Put your practice in, get seriously good arrows and broadheads, and consider replacing the red dot with a real crossbow scope.
You can expect it to perform reasonably well.
