Re: Good thing for bad aim
Jeez.
That's crazy.
It's like the difference between a beagle and a great Dane.
Re: Good thing for bad aim
I was there on sunday and there was lots of swans in the area, one must be carefull and know the target before pulling the trigger.I also noticed lots of empty casings on the dyke, it is stuff like that wich makes it hard for the honest guy to continue to hunt so close to home.

Re: Good thing for bad aim
Did anyone approach these clowns and give them a word of advise?
And did the empties get picked up? Makes it so the anti's who walk that dyke don't have any ammo (pun intended) so to speak. Most who reload are always happy to collect once fired cases.:-D
Re: Good thing for bad aim

Re: Good thing for bad aim
Freshtracks,as I was walking out I was picking them up on the way out to prevent any troubles. In your spare time grab a bag and go for a walk you should get a few,;)

Re: Good thing for bad aim
It is unbelievable what some will do.
Re: Good thing for bad aim
Someone should take those losers on a walkabout in Stanley Park.
This a goose, this a duck, and these big things with a really long freaking neck is a swan.
Re: Good thing for bad aim
I was out hunting last fall and I had a couple of swans catch me by surprise just before dark, depending on what angle they're flying and what altitude sometimes it's hard to tell, I had the shotgun swinging on them until I made a positive ID. You've got to know exactly what you’re shooting at before you pull the trigger.
Sounds like these guys were very inexperienced duck hunters and thought that they were shooting at snow geese. That or people who blatantly disregard the laws and shoot whatever flies within gun range.
