I just picked one of these up from some weird guy....really nice boat, love it, and I can handle it myself in a pinch

Re: Flat bottom flyfishing boats
Anybody been in a 1236 and 1240 to compare the difference in stability?

Marlon SP 10 51" wide bottom, 59" beam 105 lbs...
wide = stable
Cascade in Chilliwack has them. May also be a dealer in Kamloops.
Re: Flat bottom flyfishing boats
Cascade is sold out of them, called there yesterday. It doesnt really matter ordered the Journey today. Should see it in a few months. Got the order in before the aluminum tarrifs kick in and prices go up 15 to 20 percent. Kelowna Yamaha has a Marlon 10 footer but wants $2169.00 plus taxes ouch!

Cant beat Spratley for quality.

Re: Flat bottom flyfishing boats
Didnt like the spratley layout. It was a hard decision between the Journey, Spratley and Flymaster. Even took a look at the 1240 Lowe but it wasnt for me.
Re: Flat bottom flyfishing boats
I have a new 12 foot journey I’d be willing to part with or trade straight up for someone with a 10 footer! Like the boat but just a little to heavy to load in a truck myself!
Re: Flat bottom flyfishing boats
Is that 12’ journey still available?
