Re: Cam dragging on Bowflex
check to make sure chims are in.. check the cam for damage ie straight. Check limb for cracks.
last would possibly be a yoke tune.
Re: Cam dragging on Bowflex
Has the bow been taken apart? Are the correct amount of spacers on either side of the cam? Has the bow ever been dry fired or had any other damage which could cause the cam to bend/warp? Most likely there is some aggressive cam lean being caused by the bow being out of tune. Yoke tuning is the easiest fix if this in the case.
Re: Cam dragging on Bowflex
Thanks! great tips and I will look into this.
The problem started after the last hunting trip. It was a disaster overall and the bow did get abused a bit moving in/out of very dense bush.
I'm hoping a tune will get things in order.
I have never taken this apart so out to Boorman's it goes.

Doesn't the BowTech Assassin use the Binary Cams?
Tough to do a yoke tune on it
If its never been dry fired ... I am willing to bet most everything in my wallet that one of the control cables has broken strands ... and has stretched out ...
original string and cable set?
Re: Cam dragging on Bowflex
Wayne at Big Game Archery might be a better choice than Boormans and closer.
Re: Cam dragging on Bowflex
Thanks for all the info!
yoke tune didn't work, I'm convinced the top cam
got a slight warp in it during that hunting trip.
No sure it's work $200 to replace it.
Ill sit on this for a while and forego the bow season this year.
Cheers !
Re: Cam dragging on Bowflex
just checking the status of this post seeing if any progress has been made ?
Re: Cam dragging on Bowflex
No progress, I am hesitant to spend $$ on having a shop repair it, not worth it since I got the whole packages for a great deal.
Bowflex doesn’t sell cams to the public like some other Bow Companies do.
With that said, I’ll probably look at selling it as-is and get a new bow sometime in the future.
