Programmed resource radios?
The time of year to get up into the mountains is coming in quick, and access is key. What’s the deal with programmed commercial radios(rr-, Ladd, etc)?Do I need a business number or special license? I work 7 on, 7 off, so weekday hunts or scouting missions are going to be a thing, and access to some remote spots involves travelling some active log hauling roads. I’d rather make the kill, not be the kill if you catch my drift.
Re: Programmed resource radios?
If you want to do this legal, you can go to a commercial radio supplier and purchase a land mobile radio and they can assist you getting a license for the RR and Ladd stations
As well as program the radio.
Re: Programmed resource radios?
Wicked. Thanks! Will look into it next days off
Re: Programmed resource radios?
Nobody cares if you don’t have a license. I’ve never been asked in 20 years. Many radios are programmable, google programming for your radio model.
