Great video. Definitely violating the use of drones rule.
no exemption permits for filming while hunting in BC...video definitely violates the regs, kind of surprising to see a company like Blaser put their name behind it
Cool video that was great!
slow down HBC police...
So "RackStar" let me get this right. It is OK to break the law if you film a "Cool video"
How do you know drones were used on the hunt? Its been my experience that when making a video, even one that is short in length, take several hours of footage and often from several different excursions. Perhaps the overhead footage was shot when he was simply on a hike....
Although the final shot that went straight up from the kill would be tough to explain
I'll bet that 95% of the video was taken after the hunt was over. I wonder if the aerial footage of the dead moose is illegal? I personally don't see an issue with someone using a drone to take aerial footage of a dead animal....technically the hunt is over as soon as the animal is dead.
It didn't just miraculously appear he must have had it in his possession.
(b) has a drone in his or her possession, charge or control
how is anybody sure they did not use the drone to locate wildlife?...
almost every jurisdiction in NA has banned drones for hunting to promote fair chase...the GOABC supported the regulation update alongside the BCWF
a foreign film maker, hires an outfitter, guide is present on the trip, drone was used on the hunt....but no big deal because it's a cool film?...
