Wont matter either way for mounting, may have difficulties if you flattened it out, but shouldnt be a problem putting the band back on after its done.
Congrats on both trophies! They can fly along ways, a couple japanese pintails have been shot in the central flyway and theres more and more euros in the pacific flyway every year.

Wow!! I shot a euro last year and its getting mounted, but you lucky son of a gun got a band too!!! :wink: oh and... can I have some of those horse-shoes too??? :mrgreen:

Lucky Son of a gun, a true trophy specially with the jewelery on it. It'll make for a nice mount. I'd put the band back on it but too each their own

ya its a keeper for sure. my buddies have never shot a euro either so that alone is a reason to go on the wall. thankfully its a drake. does anyone know if the hen looks the same as it's american counterpart? not that i will ever mount a hen, i am just wondering
