Have you shot a billy yet Gatehouse, or are ya going for one?
Nothing like a little incentive to get out and start training for sept.
If I posted the pic of the only goat that I've ever killed I would get laughed off the site...so here's the live ones.

This is my first goat taken last year
Actually I am looking for references for drawing and painting a goat, to possibly use as a logo for our club. BUt I will go goat hutning if I get an LEH draw :)
Here's a good close-up of the face, hopefully this helps with some of the details. Let us know how it turns out.

He and his dog packed the whole thing down for a full body mount in one trip. They left in the morning and got off the mountain just at dark or it would have been a night wrapped in goat skin with a doggy heater...
Thats one hell of a Billie!!. Tough to beat a set of 11 1/4" horns. Congrats
...wow...thanks for posting more pics...any idea what it scored? Is it a Skeena billy? Actually, in order to not hijack a thread, I vote you start a new thread, starting from the beginning with that goat!!!! Inquiring minds NEED to know!!!
If you google "mountain goat pictures" you'll get a ton of them. Nice goats guys.
That thing is absolutely A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!!
That thing is a FREAK.
We need to know what it scored....I'm guessing it was killed somewhere off a river in the rocky mnt trench:-D. Makes it even MORE impressive.
That's a good one...BCbillies not shooting anymore goats! HA! I have no doubt you will pull the trigger on a Booner, (as long as you quit letting "the other guys" take them) but I'd be very surprised if it was your last goat! Although, if/when you do, I guess that means that you'll be relegated to camerman/sherpa just like ThinAir!! That could work out really really well for me...I like it.
PS it's official, this thread is OFFICIALLY hijacked.
Oh My God!!!!!!! That is the Billy of all our Dreams! What is this doing in a pic thread for pete's sake !!! we need a story Man! Sounds like an unbelievable tough hunt.. I can't get over the tip to tip spread on that thing Like someone said earlier AWESOME !!!!! Huge Congrats to the hunter
