Silpoly/Silnylon tarps and high quality Ponchos?
What are some top of the line makes of silpoly/silnylon tarps? Lookin for some rectangles with grommets to slip in my backpack. Got some last year but hate the shape thought they were going to be square.
I seen a recommendation on here a while ago about a poncho geared toward hunting but cant remember the make, said it was expensive but top of the line. Anybody know some really good makes that make a tough poncho?

Seek outside DST tarp, great product worth the money. Has a center gusset , can make multiple pitches of different shelters.

Aquaquest out of Courtenay. Straight edge tarps in several sizes and weights. Excellent service and warranty. The most waterproof, and strongest ones out there.

Very good for what they do but very heavy for backpacking.

Anyone knows good poncho. Price is irrelevant, quality coverage and waterproof is all I care.

Very heavy, very bulky. Also freaking bombproof.

Heavy if you chose the hd models, others are lighter

This is what I'm thinking. 13'x10' for $180 and only weighs 1.7lbs. The 10'x10' could also do and reduces weight to 1.3lbs.
Doesn't sound too heavy to me...

Maybe buy and set it up in the house with tent and see what you think could always return and get the other
