Gate is going up on North Beach QCI

Thought I would pass this information on to people planning on coming QCI in the future. A gate has been made and is waiting to be installed where the road passes through a small reserve. The reason I heard is from People complaining about tourists taking to many crabs. Just heard about it on my lunch break from a reliable source and was confirmed by another after work.

We don't want logging we want tourism....hey wait a minute we don't want them here either.

The Haida are also concerned about the off island hunters but don't know where they could put gates.
