If you're happy, I'm happy! What ever you do with ducks turns to gold.
However, what did you do? Paint them or build them?
If I ever know 1/10th of what you know about ducks, I'll change my name to Donald.
I remember some of your diver-hunt pic's of last year.... Outta sight, outta mind, no other pressure; just peace and tranquillity.
I can understand your motivation, now lets see the new strings!
greenhead gear just came out with some new scoter dekes http://hunting-washington.com/smf/in...h=134435;image

they kinda look cool but definitely not worth the price for a scoter... i honestly think that an all black milk carton with a strip of yellow would work just as good
same as a grey milk jug with a shot of green would work for a mallard. please enlighten us ole wise one with some sea duck lore from years past.........all decoys are created for the hunter.......great grandpa killed geese with tar paper cutouts and it can still be done today....decoy spreads have turned into the same kind of dink measuring contest you see at the boat ramps when the springs are biting.
How do diver ducks taste? The first and last bufflehead I shot as a kid wasn't so great.
fix in a batch of pepperonis or breakfast sausage!!
As far as the ghg dekes. i like em! I painted up 3 dozen scoters few weeks ago and they dont look perfect but i think they are good enough! I 'll take some pics tomorrow.
Good luck with your milk jugs and paper cut outs Kyle! Make sure to post up some pics of your next hunt over them!
