Doug moved to Fort Nelson in 1988 and has since gained extensive experience in jet boating, hunting and guiding (professionally and endlessly for multiple family and friends! Recently approached by Barry Tompkins of Big Nine Outfitters, an idea was planted and now enthusiastically has been launched . It's a joint venture with Barry, under Barry's permission and licenses along the muskwa river . The available services include: Resident &/or non-resident guided hunts for elk, moose, caribou, bear and goat as well as resident transportation and drop off/pick up in remote hunting areas along Big 9's licensed river access area. Another option is transport to and from comfortable cabin camp locations with either ATV access or foot access only to extensive trail systems
