I saw the nice pictures on the link below so I thought I would see if I could get my pics to post. I just found this site a couple days ago and I think its a really good idea to have a place for BC hunters to chat and keep in touch.

That is a very nice buck; I can’t wait to get them opportunity to hunt mule deer. I moved to BC a little over a year ago and haven’t had the opportunity to get off Vancouver Island to even see a mule deer. I only get the toy poodle version on the Island.

Welcome to the site I hope you enjoy it.

Marc.

Now that's a nice buck!! How much did he weigh out at? I got a nice 4 point a few years ago that weighed 219 lbs field dressed. It was fun dragging him out. Check out the photo gallery for a browse. There are some nice photos of members and their hunting success. And of course Welcome to the forum. BCKID

The Biggest buck I've ever been in on was a few years ago my dad shot one that was 273lbs field dressed(Fattest deer I've ever seen) It was a 4 point but it didn't have a really big rack on it, but man was it fat! The one I got this year was 161lbs on the hooks, head off ,hide off , guts out and legs off.

This one went 175lbs on the hook at the meat cutters. My buddy shot a huge four point last year that was 215lbs on the hook! They do get big! We hunt mostly up the vechichle restricted road closures so pressure is light and genetics are good. A nice 4x4 got taken the same day I got mine. The other fella and I teamed up to help get each others deer out. It was really hot and the damn flies where out almost immediately! We have been elk hunting the same area the last eight days and we have called in 4 5x5's bulls but not a 6x6. I am out of time though so next year. I might also add we have seen a couple really big mulies as well.
