Okanagan Decoy choice?

Looking to try my hand at some waterfowling in some of the local puddle and wondering what your seasoned shooters would recommend I get for floaters? A FSR behind my house gets me strait into the middle of 3-12, hoping to find some place I can drag my kayak into.

Forsmall puddles get a doz cheap $40ish per doz. Mallards, rig them with decoy string and weights( I use 4oz fishing cannonballs) attach a heavy elastic band to the string by the weight and pull it over the keel end to stop tangling when the line is wrapped , go give her hell.
