I will get a pic tonight of mine. Used ferns And leaves outta the yard to give it a good look. Just paint base colour. Put leave or branch down paint in different colour. Remove leaf / branch. Now you have nice lookin real camo

Jim remember if its not already painted you need to use aluminum primer first.

camo is for the hunters, not the game.

Try hunting waterfowl in your bright aluminum boat Duallie, let us know how that works for you.

You can always tell who are those that "do" and those that just talk!

How's that lovely dog of yours doing?

In all fairness to Duallie his posts indicate that he hunts big game and not waterfowl. As we well know waterfowl do see colour and camo is helpful, although lots of ducks and geese have been shot by hunters not wearing camo. The dogs good, she was actually tolling geese last spring. Couldn't believe it. Hope to use that as an asset this season.

Back to the subject of camo paint, 350 is right. Get some screwed up paint mixes and have at it. Just remember green is not a colour your going to see much during the season.

Problem with screw up mixes is they are almost always gloss and you want ultra flat. An aluminum boat covered with gloss paint won't be much different than an aluminum boat with no paint at all.

Okay a flat screw up.

Check out Home Depot and a few of the paint outlets, you can score some pretty good deals. Biggest thing with camo is break up your lines and corners with different shades. Good luck! K. And yes, grass green don't cut it. K

I sanded, primed with Armour Gaurd, AUTO paint, then taped, and used tremclad. It needs all the accessories back on now but overall I like my look.
