I accidently hooked up my charger backwards to my mechanical duck battery the other day and though the battery still works, it looks like the charger is hooped.

The case is actually melted a bit.

Where can I get another one?

It is a 6-volt charger.

It says Hongda Tool factory Co. Ltd. on it.

Listed 5G08

Class 2 transformer

HD-DC6V-600mA

- + 2004C

in 120 AC 60 Hz

Out 6VDC 0.6A E181730

Could I use any 6 volt transformer from the bin of used adapters at the Sally Ann or Value Village?

Or do I need to get the same specific unit?

Where would I find one?

Try a hobbie shop/ rc car shop.

check the drawing on the side or back to determine the polarity of the center pin and the voltage output, head on down to the local electronic shop or radio scrap and pick up a universal charger with the nescessary adaptor.

Well, I tried using the charger anyway after running the battery down this morning and it still seems to work, despite a slightly melted case.
