Editing problems

I tried to edit a post and the edit screen came up blank. Upon re-typing the entire post complete with photo and clicking the save button a message came on the screen that the post was to short and needed a min. 10 characters ,it likely had 50 plus a photo.:confused::confused::confused:

It's a problem that has plagued us for some time. Try again in a few hours, it may just work.

Any resolution to this... it happens to me when trying to edit posts in the sponsor's corner... aggravating!!

Any resolution to this... it happens to me when trying to edit posts in the sponsor's corner... aggravating!!
The problem occurs when trying to quote or edit posts that contain special characters such as '%'. If you plan on editing things later you could try and remember to write "percent" the first time, but a better solution would be for them to fix the forum software...

I'm told that some updating is coming, but I'm not sure just when this will happen.
