I wanted to look into some new fletching options. I'm interested in oppinions on Blazer vanes. Also if any one knows the name of the vanes with little fins on the back, I know I've seen them but I'll be darned if I can remember the name. If any of you have used them I wouldn't mind your oppinions.

On antoher note has anyone here used Lumenocks? How are they?

Thanks Steve.

Those would be the N.A.P. Quick Spin vanes I believe Steve.

As for the Blazer vanes, that's what all my shafts are fletched with these days. I use the 2" vanes for both 3D and for hunting. The 2" vanes will steer a broadhead such as the Slick Trick, the Razor Cap, and the Montec just fine - never had a problem so far.

Thanks Dan. I'll look at those quick vanes. I have heard that a lot of guys lie those blazer vanes. I think I will try them on my next dozen.

The quick spins are quite heavy, if you don't mind that trade off for extra spin go for it they work well. The blazers are excellent vanes, I am using the mini-balzers on my 3D arrows and they fly like lazers. Seem to be very durable as well.
